Are group boards actually killing your ranking with Pinterest?

Everyone knows that group boards are a GREAT way to increase your viewers and gain followers on Pinterest.

They are a great way to increase your visibility and a vital part of your Pinterest strategy.

But did you know that if you are contributing to BAD boards, it is working AGAINST you?!

A lot of people think that they need to be a part of the BIGGEST group boards possible, but this is not always the best rule.

If there are a lot of contributors, but your content may be overlooked in all the activity and NOT get as many repins as a result.

You need to look a more than just the number of followers and contributors - I use my analytics in TailWind to determine which boards are performing well and which ones I need to leave.

Check the repins the pins on group boards have for a quick assessment. 

If there are low repin numbers on most of the pins - I recommend not being a part of that board. It will be a waste of time!
